Well hello loves! I’m writing today about…. 5 interesting
places to hang out! I don’t even know why I am so excited about this topic,
maybe pretty much because I’m the type of person that CAN’T stay in the house
for too long, my brain just doesn't function that way. Okay joke. Sometimes there’s
days when you just want to lay on your
bed and don’t feel like doing nothing but mostly I loveeeee to hang out, spending quality time with my
family, especially as a student, you don’t have much quality time to spend with
your family and friends but when you do, you got to do it right. I love to
explore new activities and place so here you go, 5 places that that are
interesting to hang out!
#1 PATTY & PIE
Burgers. Good. Pizzas. Good. Burgers and pizzas? Gooooood.
That’s the grand idea behind Patty & Pie in Aman Suria, one of the newest
burger and pizza joints in town
In Kuala Lumpur, it is very hard to find a good old pizzas
rather than a typical pizzas restaurant such as Pizza Hut and Domino’s, but my
new discovery were right here in Kota Damansara, Patty & Pie, the pizza
here is nothing else like the typical pizza you usually taste, they made their
own tomato sauce, they made the pizza once the customer ordered, rolling the
flour, pretty much start from the scratch, that’s what makes the flatbread
fluffy and soft, and fresh I think. That’s what makes their pizza unique! I
usually went here every week with my family especially for dinner because my
dad, my brother, my sister… well pretty much my whole family loveee simply delicious
western food. It is a good place to gather, eat good food and just hang out. You
can give them a visit at 40, Jalan PJU 1/45, Aman Suria, 47301 Petaling Jaya,
Selangor
#2 TAMAN LAYANG-LAYANG METROPOLITAN
If
you are in Klang Valley and have yet to encounter kite flying, take some time
off and go for an exciting time with your family to Kepong Metropolitan Park.
This park is located at the north of Jinjang and can be easily accessed using
Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). The first phase of this park was opened in the year
2001 and the second phase is now opened to the public with more amenities for
the public to use. The facilities that have been built include children's playground,
an observation tower, jogging tracks, cycling tracks, reflexology facilities, toilets,
a boat house, shelters, car Park, open space for Kites enthusiasts
Kite Flying
If you are a kite enthusiasts or has been stirred to take up
this hobby, you will be glad to know that there is a huge field that runs
parallel to the main road in the park for you to use. Most barriers and trees
have been removed to ensure a clearance of at least 100m for the kites to take
off. You will see many experience kite flyers here showing their skills in
flying huge kites, some as big as 30 feet. Other colorful kites with various shapes and design can be
seen up the sky during the windy days. If you are driving along the MRR2
towards Sungai Buluh, you will definitely see the many kites and throngs of
people at this park especially during the weekends. Buying a kite is not a
problem as there are a few kite sellers that ply their trade outside the park.
Jogging Tracks
Take some time to jog along the rubberized jogging tracks
that surround the park. However, be careful of motorcycles as some of them can
be seen riding on the path at some parts of the field. Fishing is no longer
allowed here even though there is a huge lake with many species of freshwater
fish.
#3 KUALA LUMPUR CITY CENTRE
Kuala Lumpur City Centre is a multipurpose development area
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The area is located around Jalan Ampang, Jalan P.

shopping complexes such as Suria KLCC and Avenue K. Designed to be a city
within a city, the 100-acre site hosts the tallest twin buildings in the world,
shopping mall, hotels, office buildings and several hotels. A public park and a
mosque is also built on the area and open to everyone. I usually went here to
do some shopping therapy since it got literally everything from handbags to
dresses to jeans and others, for movies and also a good place to take pictures
by the park!
